I chose these for color because of the strong blue/orange tones in the photos. These two colors are often pleasing to the eye. Movie posters will use them often because it catches peoples attention.
Rule of thirds
I felt these were the strongest examples of the rule of thirds from this set of photos. The subject is placed in one of the designated sections of the frame in each photo. I use rule of thirds a lot in my photography.
Balance
Balance was a more difficult theme for me. I'm used to focusing solely on one subject in my photos so trying to work in something else to create balance was a challenge. I think I managed with these two photos. Lighting
I picked the first photo because I thought it exhibited good even lighting. The other two photos I chose to show the difference of two similar photos with different lighting characteristics.
I know we weren't supposed to move the thing we were taking pictures of, but as it turns out I didn't really have a choice. Thanks to a number of snobby security guards I was forced to change locations multiple times. I tried to move to similar places but I couldn't think of a location similar to my initial location so I just went to a parking garage.
Since I wasn't able to get as many photos as I had hoped, I kind of have to lump in my perspective photos with the themed pictures. Consider all the photos the alternate perspectives pictures.
